Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using Yelp and Open Table systems.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items and reservations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Assist in guest relations by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Provide support to servers during busy periods as needed.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service throughout the dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous host/hostess or restaurant experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Experience in food service or hospitality environments is advantageous.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective guest interactions.
