Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Atlas Search A leading investment services firm is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join its dynamic and growing fund accounting team in New York City. This is a great opportunity for professionals with fund accounting experience looking to take the next step in their career, gain exposure to complex fund structures, and work directly with high-profile clients. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual NAV packages Reconcile portfolio activity and maintain general ledger for investment funds Process capital activity, including contributions, distributions, and transfers Assist in the preparation of financial statements and footnote disclosures Coordinate with auditors, administrators, and internal teams during audit cycles Ensure fund transactions comply with partnership agreements and investor allocations Support new fund launches, system implementations, and process enhancements Mentor and review work of junior accountants as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–6 years of fund accounting experience (hedge, private equity, or fund admin) Solid understanding of partnership accounting and investment fund structures Familiarity with capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, and allocations Strong Excel skills; experience with fund accounting systems is a plus CPA or progress toward CPA preferred but not required Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under deadlines What This Role Offers: Direct exposure to complex fund structures and leading asset managers Hybrid work model with a collaborative and supportive team culture Career path toward fund controller or management roles Competitive compensation and benefits Apply Today: If you're ready to grow your career in fund accounting and gain hands-on experience with sophisticated investment funds, we encourage you to apply.
